Break in process with powerslot and hawk? Please help
Hey guys, just installed Powerslot rotors with Hawk HPS pads on my 09 non-sport sedan. I've been looking around and have gotten a mixed bag. What's the proper break-on or bed-in for the rotors and pads? Thanks in advance for the help.

How about this?
Hawk Brake Bedding-in Procedure
Step 1: Make 6-10 slow-downs from approximately 30-35 mph to 5 mph. applying moderate
pressure. Do not come to a complete stop.
Step 2: Make an additional 2 to 3 harder stops from approximately 40-45 mph. to zero.
Step 3: DO NOT DRAG THE BRAKES! (after stopping - do not leave your foot on the brake pedal)
Step 4: Allow 15 mintues or more for the brake system to cool down.
Step 5: Your new Hawk pads are ready for use.
Power Slot Brake Rotor Installation Tips & Break-In Procedure
• POWER SLOT rotors are delivered ready to install. Do not turn or machine this rotor prior to use under any circumstances.
• Do not use impact wrenches during any part of this installation
under any circumstances.
• New brake pads MUST be used when installing new POWER SLOT rotors.
Pads which are recommended for use with POWER SLOT rotors are
Hawk Perrformance pads.
• Use a service manual and follow routine brake replacement procedures for your car.
• Remove caliper assembly without disconnecting hydraulic brake lines if possible. Examine calipers for leaks, broken dust boots, rust, etc… Replace or repair caliper if necessary. Otherwise suspend caliper from frame of vehicle with wire of hook. Take extra care not to strain hydraulic hose or crossover line. Remove dust from caliper using a wire brush being careful not to damage the piston or rubber boot. Clean all brake components with a safe solvent.
• POWER SLOT rotors are directional and correct rotation is crucial for proper functioning of brake pads. The rotors are clearly marked on the hub, “L, left” or R, right”. Left refers to drivers left.
• POWER PERFORMANCE GROUP, INC. recommends that you flush your brake fluid and bleed the entire system with a high grade DOT 4 or better fluid.
BREAK-IN TIPS
• The bedding in of your new POWER SLOT system is the most important part of the job. When re-assembly is completed, seat brake pads and establish pedal height by depressing the pedal several times before driving. Some vehicles may initially appear to have a very low pedal until pads become completely seated. Upon determining that installation was performed per specification, test drive the vehicle making several low speed stops to seat pads and assure the system is functioning safely.
• In order to assure maximum life and brake pad performance the system should be frequently heat cycled. Prolonged, excessive, heat during the bedding process can dramatically effect the performance of the POWER SLOT system. For best results the system should be cycled by firmly applying brake pressure, to produce heat in the system, for short period of time. Allow the system to cool and repeat the process. This will begin the tempering process. Avoid excessive or high speed braking until your new system has seated in. This will take approximately 200 to 500 miles. Not following the break-in procedure will severely effect how your new POWER SLOT system will function.
• Under heavy braking a slight whirring noise might be audible. This is a normal noise. A properly functioning brake system is essential to your safety. If you are unclear about any part of the installation, please consult a certified mechanic.
Your safety depends on it.
