275/30/20 and 255/35/20??

Hey guys i wanna know if these sizes(275/30/20 255/35/20) would cause any problems compared to the 275/30/20 and 245/35/20. Would i have any issues with traction control or anything. Anyone with info would gladly help!

Thanks!

Yes it will.
Go to the tire manufacturer's website, and see what the difference is with diameter, and tire RPMs per mile.

I wouldnt go beyond a 10% difference.

Im running 255.35 and 285.30 on my wheels. Depends on the offset of your wheels and how low you are and what tires you're running to figure out if you're gonna clear your fenders properly. You're not going to have any issue with traction control or computer errors, although gas mileage may suffer slightly due to increased drag and higher revs. (keep in mind wider tires = less weight per square inch) .. Im running Falken 452s in those sizes with no issue.

What are your wheels sizes and offsets that you want to run these tires on?

Hmm i would have to look into this but i know 245/40/19 has pretty identical specs as 245/35/20 and 255/35/20 is just slightly different.

255/35/20 is like 9 revs/mile less thats less than 10% right?

Well i wanted to run the same setup as you 285/30/20-255/35/20 but the offsets and sizes are 20x10.5 +25 and 20x9.5 +45 im on eibach pro kit and im going to run falkens most likely if not maybe hankook v12's or thinking of experimenting the Federal evo595 or achilles ATR sport i have a few friends that have been running those tires and they say they are actually great tires for normal use.

I thought lighter weight on wheels/tires= better gas? hmmm higher revs and more drag i have never used this equation but if its true then i should notice it cause im an mpg junkie lol

I'm running Falkens with 9.5 +25 & 10.5 +32 ... You should be fine running a 275.30 on a 10.5 +25.

Answer is YES ... I've done it already with Hankook V12s and Falken 452s ... What are you worried about?

(rears will need some camber and modified bracket to avoid rub with that offset)

Buy an SPC rear camber kit. Usually goes for about $100 used on here. With those size tires and offset you'll probably need -2.5 camber. Cause I've got about -1.8 on my set up.

As I said, check the "diameter" of those tires, the difference could cause confusion with the BCM in regards to ABS, and VDC.

For instance Michelin PSS 275/30/20 is 27" in diameter rolls 700 revs per mile.
a 255/35/20 is 26.5" in diameter rolls 784 revs per mile.

a 245/35/20 is 26.8 in diameter rolls 777 revs per mile.

I would pick the 245 as it is closer than the 255 in diameter.

Hmmm ill look into that i dont know much about camber.... all i know is that my tires are gonna go bald faster from the edges right? damn i wanted to avoid doing that. well i guess i have to try it first and if it rubs alot then i guess i have no choice...

Sizes look good and there's a decent amount of choices in that combo also.
