Enkei EKM3 winter wheels
Hey guys, thanks for all the help researching wheels and tires. I ended up with Michelin IceX2 or something like that. 225x50x18 all the way around. Wheels are Enkei EKM3 18x8 40mm offset. I got them from Tirerack and their service and shipping is great. I have a G37S Vert and I was concerned about the BBK clearance.
One thing I learned is the Vert has a 30mm offset 9" wheel due to (I think) the car being 1" wider than the coupe. Due to this I needed to put 20mm spacers on the rear to get the wheel to not be "tucked" in.
When selecting wheels dont settle for what the web site shows. I wasnt happy with the "snow wheel" selections until I called up and asked about the EKM3 wheel and their techs verified it would fit.

Looks good. I had a "verification" that a wheel would clear the BBK and when I ordered from them and tried to put them on, they indeed, you guessed it, did not clear the BBK. So I ended up getting something from their offered winter wheel selection.
The customer service from Tirerack was great.
Also doesn't look like it'll snow anytime soon in that pic lol.

Thanks.. yeah it has been a bit warm in NJ for this time of year. Swapped the wheels out during Thxgiving weekend and it was warm. BTW, definately a difference in handling. the Michelins are not a performance tire, and handling is a bit squishy, but that fine for 3+ months during the year. They are very quiet and great in the rain.

I've got Blizzaks and the handling is squishy at best. It does improve when it gets colder out though. The tire stiffens up and you have a less squirmy tail end. It's been cold and raining here in WI and I swapped to my winter set in early November expecting at least a couple inches...but we haven't gotten anything here either.
