Sportmax/XXR Wheels?
How come there are so may haters of this wheel? I understand that the wheel is at the bottom of the price chart, but really? What about the people with a budget or people that just want a nice wheel without having to pay big $$$ for them. Are they cheeply built? Are they supper heavy? Do they perform badly?

From what I hear/ see they are more prone to breaking compared to other aftermarket wheels. Under regular driving conditions I'd assume they be just fine. Usually to get a wheel to break you gotta hit something whether it be a pothole or bumps or whatever.
Also the lack of sizing for our car deters people from te brand

I used to rock those 502's, they were my first set of wheels.... pretty good wheels for the money if you're on a budget.
One thing to worry about is that the polished lip/barrel, especially the rear lip, is prone to dents. (probably from rocks)
here's a pic before the drop. I'll look for more pics if you want.

I know people here in NY who rocked XXR's through all weather summer and winter tpand dealt with our infamous sh!TTY roads and they held up perfectly. That being said, I'd proceed with caution as you get what you pay for.

nothings wrong with xxr... i know plenty of people that rock them and never had a issue with them.. just some people would rather save up a little bit more and pick up a better set of wheels..
