anyone running open end lug nuts?

Like the title says. Anyone running open end lug nuts with their wheels?

I ran open lug nuts on my last car because they usually are steel. The advantage over alloy lug nuts is that steel hold better and needs less thread which is helpful when using spacers without changing out to longer lug studs. Also with open lug nuts, you can see how much the nut is threaded.

Just curious if anyone is using the open nuts and where they buy them.

Like I said in my OP, I used them in my last car. A Porsche 911. I don't need to Google "open lug nuts" to know what they are or what they do.

I am posting because I did a search here and can't find what people here think about them. If you don't use them or know of anyone who do, just say so.

Random post "Google search" without knowing anything about the topic or me is insulting and uncalled for.

You have a nice day.

I had a couple sets rust out on me. One to the point it snapped the stud but you can grease them and they should not rust. I didnt find this out until later on.
