Uneven Tire wear
Hey guys... the inside of my right front tire has worn extremely quick (under 10k miles). It's a Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, on Vossen 084's. I have Eibach springs, but no other suspension work done on my g37S. Can anybody explain this? Is it simply an alignment issue, or is it because I'm dropped a little and don't have aftermarket suspension? I tend to keep the wheels inflated properly, or perhaps even a little more.
I just ordered 2 new front tires today, I just want to prevent this from happening again.

Did you get an alignment after your wheels and drop? If not your tire wear would be par for the course. With that said, even if you did get an alignment you still should expect camber wear even with the modest eibach drop. I would suggest switching the tires over to the other wheel so try to get the most out of them. Good luck.

even though he gets an alignment after the springs the stock front camber is non adjustable. do your self a favor and get front camber kits. i have the same setup as you and for some reason my right tire did the same before i got front camber kits.

With extreme wear, it's more likely to be a toe issue than a camber issue. True, large amounts of camber can cause uneven wear, but I don't think Eibach will produce the camber required to wear the tires excessively.

Thanks guys... if a front camber kit is ~$450, sounds like something I should spring for rather than constantly turning over tires.
I get the car aligned every spring when I take off the stock wheels + blizzaks, and every fall when I take off the summer Vossens. But then again, the roads are rough around here and one hard bump could alter the alignment.
I would've blamed the spacers, as they are my newest edition, but the tire had started to wear irregularly prior to spacer install.
Is it a bad thing to just get Eibach springs and no other suspension mods? One day I was getting my car serviced at the dealership, and the mechanic was giving me a helluva time, saying that my "drivetrain was riding on (something), and we're not gonna cover you if something happens".

Here's a pic of what happened to my left front, most likely due to bad alignment.
Holding off on a camber kit unless it happens again... My mechanic said my camber wasn't extreme enough to warrant a camber kit, and my new alignment and 2 new front tires should do the trick.

He might have adjusted the toe, but ~$400 for arms, is cheaper than tires.
Good luck.
