If you go to the application guide and put in a 2008 Infiniti G35x you will get springs. They are 6399.140 and they came out about 6-10 months ago. Go to eibachs site.

Already did that before, and did it again...I see where it lists for G35X, but it does not list for G37X Sedan...I even called them and spoke with their tech support, they said they do not have springs for the G37X Sedan...they are not the same according to them.

6399.140 is for the 2008 G35X, maybe that is why people say there are issues with it being lowered too much in the rear when they use the springs for the G37X?
Something must be different if Eibach says they do not have them for the G37X...you would think they would know and want to sell them to G37 owners.

I called Swift later today and they said the same thing, none for the G37X, but they hope to get them in about a month...same thing, they did not offer the G35X springs for the G37X; they are not the same.

OK, so I did some searching around for more answers. The G35X springs do fit, but they have a different rate than the G37X springs.
From what I found, the G37X is heavier than the G35X so the spring rate is a little higher.
That might explain why some people aren't happy with the results using the springs for G35X?

Yup, just like I said the general consensus is to use these springs for the G37x since the suspension is basically the same. If the G37x is heaver, it is probaby such a small amount since the only thing that really changed was the motor (probably not any heavier since it is the same general motor) and some body parts. Unless there are more standard features making the car 50 lbs heavier. And also considering that eibach applies thier springs across more than one application (g35x wearing the same as the g37x coupe), I can't imagine their sprinngs are that exact to even really matter. If it matters to you, do not buy them and leave it at that.

There are NO SPRINGS for the G37x sedan. Better?

And we've been waiting on those swift springs forever. They were supposed to be out in the spring but it is now september. Don't hold your breath.

Look, all I am saying is the manufacturer/vendor says they are not the same and there is a difference. Will it fit? Yes. Is it correct as designed? No.
You can find reports of the G35 springs being used and people being unhappy with the results and not understanding why it didn't turn out like they expected. There is a reason. There is a difference.

Some people say they are the same thing because they fit. I guess the point is, they will fit...but they are not designed the same in spring rate and will have a different result.
I can physically fit the 3/4 ton coil springs on my 64' 1/2 ton Chevy Truck, but it's not gonna have the same results as the correct 1/2 ton ones with the correct rate.

Did I dispute that? No. You'd also be surprised how 'unspecialized' many car parts are. Just find the thread where they show the spring rates used. They are exactly the same but have different model numbers! No one does as much R&D as the manufacturer and if you don't want to make compromises, don't modify your car.

I think the reason they haven't listed them for the G37x sedan yet is because they haven't had one to do a test fit on. They are in California and from what I hear an awd G is kinda hard to come by out there.

My only point is people shouldn't say it's the same as the G35X, just use those. There should also be the comments that they are not exactly the same and you may not get the anticipated results.
I've done plenty of mods on vehicles in my days that were not exact applications, but I would never tell someone, oh yeah, it's the same thing.

Guys I ran across a video on youtube where a guy found a lowering solution which fit his G37x. Sure this is a thread with a lot of spring talk, but suspension isn't something to play around with; remember you get what you pay for. Something about Eibach reiterating to many of us "X" owners that they don't support our rides doesn't sit well with me. I'll be grabbing these and getting rid of the Eibach's I have sitting around. Hi, new to the forum and have been looking for coils for the G37x sedan... apparently, JIC magic said they would come out with coil overs 1st quarter of 2012. As an aside, I must say that finding modifications for an X sedan is rather tough!
