Has anyone with Eibach lowering springs tried going through a carwash? Is it possible without scrapping? haha I want to lower my car but I still wanna be able to use the carwash..
I wish I could wash my car but it ain't happening cus it's kept outside and dd it just gets dirty fast. I am lowered on coils to an eibach type drop and I have taken it thru carawash no prob. Granted this caraway also does some exotics etc which are even lower than my g. But if your really slammed.... I wouldn't do it.
I don't think "really slammed" and "Eibach Springs" go hand in hand. Also, if you have the means to wash it yourself, do it. If not, then at least take it to a place that is reputable and does higher end cars from time to time.
dont go to an auto carwash, find a hand car wash place. it's going to cost you more but you arent going to come out of it with scratched wheels or paints more than likely
As stated, I wouldn't take it into an auto car wash, UNLESS it is one of those touchless washes that is done with just high pressure water, but then it won't really be clean.
Wash it yourself or get a really good buffer because you'll need it to take out all the swirls/scratches in your paint.
And those suck too. What's your point? They still use sh1tty chemicals that can (normally WILL) harm the paint, the water is filthy, etc. The only thing they do differently is they don't scratch your paint
Call one of those on site car detailer places that will come to your house or place of business and wash/detail the car if you don't want to do it your self.
Wow so you are willing to sacrifice the look and ride of your car just to appease your laziness oh and all the while destroying your paint? Good day to you sir. I say Good Day!!
