Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports......?

I am considering on purchasing the Michelin Pilot Super Sports for my 09 G37xS sedan. The size i would be is 225/50/18 all the way around. Anybody have these or have any opinions on them? Currently they are priced at $166 per tire.

The other tire i am interested in are the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports which are priced at $163 per tire. Any opinions?

The Super Sport hasn't been out long enough for someone to use them for an entire life span just yet. They are also in a performance class higher than the B-Stone so wear will be quicker on them. It will have better dry traction and response but at the trade off of shorter life and stiffer ride. The B-Stone will last longer but won't be as good in dry as the Michelin.

Unless you're pushing the car hard all the time or doing some auto-x, the Pilot's might be a tad overkill. The 760's are a great dd tire that will handle more than enough of what you'll be doing on the street.

How will either of these two tires mentioned compare to the OEM tires that came on my 09 G?

what was your OEM tire? Dunlops? I don't think the X came with the Bridgestone RE050.

I'm very happy with the ride/handling of the Potenza 760 so far (10K miles).

Shorter life, stiffer ride but much better dry handling and response. No a/s either as they are both summer based tires.
