Im looking into buying Vossen CV-1 Wheels, but before buying, I want to make sure if bent they are repairable. Most, if all, wheel repair companies dont repair chrome wheels but these wheels only look chrome on the outer edge lip. Feedback please.

 

I just spoke to Vossen about the same question. They said if the chrome lip has extensive damage(dented, deep scratches) it can't be repaired. Your only choice would be to paint the lip or buy a new wheel. If the rim itself has damage(other than the lip) i would think it could be repaired by a local wheel repair shop.

 

The only thing chrome about Vossen wheels are the lips. Their lips are covers/snapons, so if it's damaged, I'm sure you can buy a replacement from Vossen.

 

I actually asked Vossen that as well, they advised that they don't sell the lip separately.

 

I was told the lips were stainless steel and you can't replace the stainless steel lips.
