TPMS Rebuild

Getting a new set of tires put on and was wondering if the TPMS needs a rebuild? The kit of 4 is only about $12 from discount tires but the install can be as much as $22 per tire at some local places. Thanks in advance.

If you're not moving the sensors off the wheels then no rebuild kit is necessary. If they are coming off the wheels, or have been on for quite a while, you may want to buy the kit which comes with new gaskets and such.
