Stick to OEM.

The only difference is the boiling point of the fluids, if you are not tracking there is no point for the hassle.

I would have to think some fluids have better moisture absorption characteristics. You want the least amount of moisture absorbed into the fluid, so presumably better quality fluids will combat it a little better.

I left a little Castrol LMA (Low Moisture Absorption) fluid out in the open right next to some run of the mill DOT3, and the LMA clearly has less water droplets in it after the same amount of exposure time as the DOT3.

whichever fluid you decide on, the most import important part is bleeding it properly.
You will more likely need more than 2 bottles but once you fill it, you have to bleed them. Depending on how much air pockets you have will dictate how many bottles you'll need

Thanks for the info. I had my mine bleeded when I got my akebono's installed recently. My mechanic needed almost 2 bottles to bleed the system.
