I Want to Show you Something About Forgestar!!
Words taken from: Something Special About a Forgestar Wheel : Video | TheD2Life.com
At D2Autosport we carry forgestar wheels. They use a process called flow forming to reduce weight and add strength to a cast wheel. Check out this video of the creation of a Forgestar wheel:

Are those forged aluminum billets they use for rims?
I also do not see anything special about the process they use.
If anything, powder coating and putting into an autoclave at 150-200F will make the aluminum slightly more brittle, all be it slightly harder.

What is special is the fact that they are custom to your order. Any offset, multiple widths, and finish combinations are endless. There has never been a wheel in this price point that was fully custom the way these are.
The wheel is a cast flow formed process, where the wheel starts as a center and lip and the widths are spun and spread to create the different width options.
