Doggy needs help...Lowest offset on s-techs
Hey guys, I am slammed on s-tech springs as of now with no camber kits. Im planning on getting some wheels but I am really having a problem deciding the right one. I love that hellaflush look, and want to run a stretch setup. This car is my daily driver though and I go about 2k or a little less a month, and I go on canyon runs about once a month with the car crew. I have a wheel in mind, not gona say what type I wana keep it a surprise, but the offsets are:
+5 front 9 225 tire
+ 15 rear 10.5 245 tire.
I am not sure if this will be too aggresive and will rub since im so low, and I plan on getting camber kits so not sure if it will work with the camber kits either.
What do you guys think of this setup? my other option is
+25 front 9 235 tire
+20 rear 10.5 255 tire
+5 front 9 225 tire
+ 15 rear 10.5 245 tire.

Lol... Those sizes and offsets sound like Vossen! LMAO.
I say run the second option that you listed.. Your car is a daily driver and you do put a lot of milage a month.. You wanna go in the canyon, running that first offset you probably gonna rub on every curve. Camber kit may not even help you with the first offset option you listed, especially on S-Tech...
Hit up Chan and find out what offsets he's running on his forgestars and if he's running camber kits (I think he just has a rear like me).. His stance looks awesome on H&R with his offsets...
Don't forget that you're running springs not coils, so if you're going with an aggressive offset, you're not gonna be able to stiffen up your suspension to avoid rubbing.

First off Doggy it's
20x9.0 +20
20x10.5 +25 just add a 5mm spacer on rear and sit at +20 on rear and leave it!
If you go +15 u gonna want a 255/30 and look into running a little camber.
Safest route I's the 20 front and rear 25 set up ! That's perfect . Then space them out if u have to.

IMHO going +15 on s techs you may as well forget camber kits cause the car gonna sit like this / \ and u won't have a choice because u on springs. Most aggresive i ran on S techs w camber kits was +20 w -1.9 camber and i was maxed out! Once i went another 5mm i needed to camber i'n! Unless u have coils to stiffen up rear and raise it ! Safest bet I's 20/25 w 235/255.

Won't +5/+15 on S-Tech's look silly? I feel like you have to be really slammed and run some negative camber to pull off aggressive offsets like that. Being your daily, I'm thinking the headaches of that set-up would trounce the satisfaction you'd get... No?
I think the first set-up is nice. Not really conservative and not overly aggressive. Just my $.02.
Either way, good luck. I'm looking forward to the end result.
