Eibach

Front: 32mm
Rear: 29mm
Footnotes: Front Sway Bar Is Tubular And 2 Way-adjustable/ Rear Sway Bar Is Tubular And 3 Way-adjustable.

Eibach 3 thumbs up
1. Stiffer Rear
2. Front 2 Way Adjustable
3. I got mine below Stillen's MSRP.

Hotchkis 2 thumbs up
1. Stiffer Front
2. "Hotchkis Sway Bar", just sound very sexy.

Stillen 1/2 thumb up
1. The price is cheper than other two brands. However I think to spend $300 on a product little bit better than OEM. I think it is waste of money.

Good post. I have not tried the others but I definitely could tell a difference when I put my Stillen on.

I just wanted to post some facts, regarding three major sway bars. I did some research on them, and made my decision based on facts. Wanted to share with myG37 Community facts only. Nothing against Stillen.

I personally don't have good experience with Tanabe. So I did not research Tanabes yet. All I did was to enter specs specified by the three major manufacturers. So it is pretty straight forward. Sometimes I think we overlook basic information which are crucial before deciding which brand is best.

Regarding Eibach MSRP, I will PM you.

Good review and post. Appreciate the information. Ride is definitely much better with any upgraded sway bars.

Great post and very useful information. It's great to know the difference between the products for potential buyer. Hotchkis have the stiffest adjustability, however I think it is a little too stiff especially for a daily/spirited driven G37. I personally have Stillen sways and noticed a huge difference as soon as I put them on without sacrificing too much comfort for performance. I think Stillen incorporated the best combination for sport luxury.

FYI, personally I would be interested and would appreciate if you add some reasearch about Tanabe as it is another very popular brand. Thank OP for the info.

My only thing here is - there are no specs for the % increase in stiffness for the Eibachs. There are specs for the oem, Stillen, and Hotchkis, but nothing for the Eibach sways. I guess that just going by the thickness of the bar you're assuming they're stiffer? Guess that makes sense. But there may be differences in how "progressive" they act in real life situations. Also important - which you can't get without trying them in real situations, is how they perfort within their front/rear dynamics. That is - some are way stiffer in the front than rear, while Stillen for instance, has the front not that stiff COMPARED to the rear. Hotchkis seem to be the opposite, with WAY stiff bars on the front compared to the rears.
The G seems to break loose and go from understeer to oversteer quite easily, so very stiff bars on the front compared to the back may or may not be what one wants. Sure, you control oversteer, but maybe too much? Just curious.

A thicker more rigid sway bar will do following.

1. Decrease body roll, which is obvious reason why we change to after market sway bars.

2. Limit camber changes. Increases negative camber. When cornering at higher speed. Which equals to more grip.

3. Being thicker Sway bar, or more rigid sway bar. Does not mean it will produce over steer. Its all about front sway affecting rear lateral momentum. And the rear sway bar affecting front lateral momentum.
- Rear Sway Bar affect front Lateral movement. And Front Sway Bar affect rear lateral movement.

Comparison in % of stiffness or rigidity between front and rear sway bars.

Stillen is 6%
Eibach 10%
Hotchkis 20%

So if you really want to over steer your G get Hotchkis. At higher cornering speed. You will have more lateral front movement.

Many of us including myself. Tend to get hooked up. Like bad habit when it comes in moding our G's. Forget all about specs, and jump into a product for emotional reasons, rather than spec and performance. If a million people does wrong, it is still wrong. I don't work for eibach. I am not here to defend eibach. I just want to share with Our G37 community comparison between three brand.

Good post but not a review. Just posting manufacturer info right?
I know someone posted the difference on each sway bars but I can't find it.
Also, another good information would be posting the difference between the urethane bushings and not just the size and stiffness of the actual bars right?
