funny, but out of all the wheels i've owned, the one that actually bent were my iforged ones. never had any issues with the other cast wheels.

To answer the original question, no I don't think these wheels will clear the S model brakes. Tell your friend to just order a set of Vossen VVS-082's from us, we will hook her up:

You sell wheels but say crap like this???
I am older than most people around and have been buying custom wheels over 20 years. I've had more issues with forged wheels.....way more. Forged wheels are stronger pound for pound but because they are lighter they are less dense. They bend and break just as much or more than cast.
Plus, they seem to not hold the finish as well as cast. Forged wheels seem to peel, bubble, fade or thin out at a higher rate than cast.
Since 90% of us don't race, there is only one advantage of forged....that look. They have a look that is superior to most cast. It's unmistakable to us that know.

Anytime I hear a salesman put down another product, I cringe. A good salesman finds out what the buyers preferences are and sell to those preferences. Not trash something else. Especially with false crap.

If you have specific examples of cracked Axis, post them.
Then I'll post examples of broken and cracked forged wheels.
Stop trying to take advantage of these young people.

I prefer high end wheels too...but they aren't superior...they just look a whole lot better. I'm having problems with mine right now. Problems that wouldn't exist with a lower end wheel. Peace out!
