Is it absolutely necessary to change TPMS?
Do I need to change the TPMS on my first tire change? I only have 19,200 miles on the car.

what do you mean? the TPMS will just get reset when you change the tires, you don't have to replace the TPMS at all...

Don't have to change TPMS. But when you get new tires, be sure to tell them that you have TPMS and go to a place that won't damage it when removing/installing tires.

OEM sensors are designed to last 7-10 years before the battery fails. Seems like you're far from reaching that point.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that they were changed every time you buy new tires.

Each individual unit is >$140 so that would be an extra $500+ every time you changed your tires haha
