do you mean the key for the actual lug or the key to get the cover off?

the key for the lug is metal, how did you strip it?! were you over-torquing like crazy? lol

and the key for the covers, just use a metal allen wrench, works better than the plastic key anyways

Contact Mackin, I think someone bought a replacement key before.

The edges of the key can get rounded off if used incorrectly.

for the actual lug heptagon key (metal). I've looked on Rays website and they have nothing.

I can't imagine they wouldn't produce Replacement keys otherwise I'm screwed.

Has anyone ever purchased a replacement key for these lugs... if so from where?

Not sure what you mean exactly but yes if we bought the same lugs, your key would work for lugs too.

All Formula Lugs use the same keys. The one to remove the centers is a 6mm allen wrench (I think, could be 5mm). You can get these at any hardware store. The one to remove the actual lug is a heptagon and it is specific to all Formula Lugs, but you would probably have to get it from Mackin/Rays....

Probably because it would be way to expensive to do that and it doesn't really make sense from a business stand point.

most wheel locks make a number of different keys.

Kics R40's have over a dozen different keys for the lock, so not everyone has the same one, that just wouldnt make sense.

The formulas use a 7sided key, being rare enough they just have every set use the same key.
