Nismo 370z LMGT5's Will the 10.5" rear with +23 offset fit a G37? Birmingham AL

Good morning peoples of G37 driver... I have a G35, so I have no clue if this will work.

Will the rear wheel from a Nismo 370z fit a G37?
Here are the specs:
19X9.5 +40 front
19X10.5 +23 rear
Weight: 20.5 lbs. (9.3kg) – front; 20.9 (9.5kg) – rear

I don't think the front will be the problem... what about the rear?

I don't know what you G37 guys run on your aftermarket wheels... Help a brotha out please!

If any of you or your family members drive a G37 coupe in Birmingham, AL, let me know and I'll go to their house for a test fit lol

Adrian

The front will fit with no problem at all. The rear is a tad aggressive. Most are running +25-+30 rears and sitting flush. Those would need a stretch and some neg camber.

Here is the math that I did...

Front:
OEM G37S Wheels: 19"x8.5". Offset +43
NISMO Wheels: 19x9.5 offset +40
Since the rim is one inch wider, it will stick out half an in more (the 1 inch is split half half onto each side of the wheel). Also, since it has a lower offset, it will stick out 3mm more. So in total, the Nismo wheel will stick out 15.7mm (half an inch+3mm) more than OEM, which seems to be completely fine.

Rear:
OEM G37S Wheels: 19"x9" Offset +45
NISMO wheels: 19x10.5 Offset +23
Since the rim is 1.5 inches wider, it will stick out 0.75 inches. Difference in offset is 22mm. Combine both and the rear tire will stick out 41.05mm more than the OEM wheel, and that seems to be far too aggressive…

Does it make sense?

I'm running a 25 I'm my rear but Witt a 255/30/20 It will work because two ppl already added a 5mm spacer to a +25 and are fine but w a 255/30/20 tire and we are all lowered on Tein S techs, if you are on Eibachs you can probably run a 275/30/20 but gonna be close. Front is gonna look tucked in a lot and rear gonna be too aggresive IMHO .

this.

my rears are 20x10 +32 and sit perfectly flush, so with +23 you would need some neg camber to not rub

^^yeah you could do that too...just depends on what stance you want. If you want an super aggressive one then run neg camber in the rear and change up the front a bit, or shave the bracket and get some spacers for the front, kind of up to you

I really like the rims but I think it'll be too stretched out for my taste. Do you have a pic of how stretched the tire is on your setup BlkHR37S?

Hmm, he is lowered on springs...
'Would that be enough?' is the question

Yeah I'm on Eibachs without a camber kit and I wouldn't want to run more camber than that, I don't like the look of too much neg camber...

His rears are 10.5 wide.

Those would look great on the G , they have some concave to them . I've always liked the nismo wheels.
