burning rubber smell with a low drop?

I'm smelling what seems to be burning rubber as I left work today. More than likely as I turned to get on the main road I had a little rubbing on the liner perhaps.

Any thoughts from those who are really dumped?
I'm dropped on the pro kit for the coupe but it's the vert. (over 400 lbs heavier)
I'm on stock wheels and rims and I still have the liner.

Is there any way to check this out to check for the source apart from stopping if I smell it again?
pic reference if that helps.

Thanks.

stick your hands underneath the quarter panel and kinda pull your fender liner and see if it's ripped or tear in some parts. that might be your culprit.

Thanks Weiboy. I just did a check and the right rear was a bit looser than normal.
I do make a left turn from an incline to get on the main road from my office so that's likely it hopefully.

I'll need to turn my music down next time. I hear nothing but tunes when I drive

i think it all depends on how much you're rubbing on it. if it's slight you may or may not hear it. i remember when i first got my wheels and dropped i didn't trim the fender liner cuz i did not hear any rubbing but guess what, the fender liner was torn pretty good.

^ it's on the vert... really heavy is the reason why.

This seems to to be the culprit. I put it back in place. So I'll need to take the turn from the coming out of the incline a bit slower its seems. I hope this is all that it is and I won't be smelling it any more.

what you need to do is jack up your car a bit and use a razor blade and trim it down.
