I've got the Hotchkis sways and I'm getting very heavy understeer, as in I can't power oversteer at all! Maybe a bad install? I can't imagine they would have ruined the decent balance of the car that much! Also my rear tires are almost bald so you would think it would be easy to kick them out.

Hi, I've got the rears set to the middle setting. My pt about the tires was with almost bald rear tires it should make it easier for the back end to come around. Also I'm getting some heavy binding noise in the front of the car in hard cornering.

you need to grease the sways better. thats prob a cause of the noise you are getting.

I greased the heck out of mine, prior to install and no noises come from my sways.

Yeah I can't wait for that. My G was pretty well balanced b4 the install. So I'm pretty certain there's something broken under there like an end link or something. Once it cools off a bit I'll take a look or might take it to a different shop

before going to a shop to have it installed, I highly recommend installing it yourself, I've never installed anything like this before, only other thing I did to my car was put on the bolt on tanabes which is probably a 2 out of 10 difficulty, and I was still able to install the sways. Just look for Black Betty's DIY on how to install the sways, I was able to install no problem, took longer since I'm new to it but everything was clear and easy to understand. all you really need is a ramp, which you can get from walmart for $40 and it'll be good for later use too, and just rent a torque wrench from autozone, it's free, and give it a try.

Well I figured out what was causing the extreme understeer with my new hotchkis sway bar set. I've only had them installed for a few weeks. I took the car to the dealer and to a local shop and no one noticed that the drivers side rear end link is cracked and the bolt has stripped out effectively leaving the rear bar disconnected on one side. Ta da, the reason for the understeer! I've ordered a new end link from a local parts shop for only 25 bucks, but the obvious question is, has anyone else had failed end links with the Hotchkis bars and is this a known weakness to the system? If the end links gave out mid corner you could get extreme understeer or oversteer which could cause a wreck.

^ That's sucks, good to hear you found out before something happened. Did you get beefier aftermarket endlinks?
