I have a 2008 journey with factory wheels now. I am looking to change to 20" wheels. I have a line on a decent set but am concearned with the fitment. The rears are 20 x 10 with an option of 25mm or 35mm offset. Tires are 285/30/20. The fronts are 20 x 8.5 with either 20mm or 45mm offset with 245/35/20 tires.
Hopefully someone can help steer me in the right direction. Car is bone stock so this is kinda important to get right.
The guy mentioned that the 25mm will fit with the original tires I was going to buy. 275's, problem is he only has 285's in stock. He said I may have to worry about the rears rubbing.
Thank you. I just want a little slicker look, but still want to maintain the factory springs. This helps.
The front options are actually either a 45mm or a 20mm 20x8.5 rim with 245/35/20 tires. Which offset would be better and more natural looking for the front? I'm guessing the 20mm. How are my assumptions?
