tpms broken inside wheel
I hit this huge pothole which was unavoidable, my front passanger tire needs to be replaced it started to bubble on the sidewall, but surprisingly only a slight bend in the rim, hardly noticeable. But the last few days I kept hearing a rattling sound from the rear passanger tire, I took the tire off to see and to my surprise hear something rolling around inside the tire. Can the tpms sensor break off inside the wheel.? Whats the cost to get it replaced?

TPMS module breaking off should be covered by the dealer...
I just had my dealer do a tire/wheel swap and later that day the TPMS
came on the dash. I figured one of the tires had wrong pressure.
Went to a service station close to me and the guy checked each tire
ans set everything perfectly and the light is still on.
I think I've got a bum module... Dealer better F'n replace that at no cost to me!!!!

If you hit a pothole and damage it like the OP did, that's not something covered under warranty, he had an accident and damaged the car. In no way is that a defective part or the dealer's fault.

You carry the Nissan OEM Part number Part # 40700 -JK00B for $49??? That sounds too good to be true. List from Nissan is about $120.
I bought some aftermarket from a different vendor who claimed they were "functionally identical" to the Nissan OEM ones. They didn't work.
