wheels/tires for G37 sedan w/ sport pkg.
I'm looking for rims/tires for a 2010 G37 sedan(RWD) Journey w/ sport pkg. Stocks are the staggered Fr 225/50 18x7.5 and Rr 245/45 18x8.5. I would like to go with 245/45 18 all around as that size has a better tire selection. Can 245/45's fit on the stock rim? If not, I'm saw these inexpensive rims from Discount Tire.
Drag Wheels. Extreme Alloys. | DR-34 (GLOSS BLACK, GUN METAL, SILVER, CHROME)
Would they fit Fr and Rr and clear the sport pkg brakes with their offsets and 245/45's? Any other suggestions. Thanks.

I saw them on the Discount Tire Direct website but I wanted to make sure. They are $145 each. Would I be ok going from an 8.5" to 8" rim width in the rear? Also, would the 245/45's rub in the front?

Not sure about the fronts. However, a member on here did state that his car drove better with 9" in the back than with 8" with his winter setup. For that reason, I'd go with 8.5 in the rear.

I also saw a set of ASA GT2 at Tire Rack for $166. All of the inexpensive 18" rims I see are only 8" wide. Anyone know if I could put a 245/45 on the 7.5" rim in the front? This would give me 245/45/18's all around on the OE staggered sport pkg rim set up. It says the rim width range is from 7.5-9". That would be the easiest and least expensive and there are a good selection of tires in that size.

I asked the exact same question on my car as I now have the 18in sport wheels on my AWD sedan and want to go to a different tire. Neil from tirerack.com didn't think it would be an issue for me to go with 245/45/18 all around on my 18 x 7.5 OEM wheel. I was looking at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS or the Bridgestone RE960 AS Pole Position U-HP A/S tires as replacements for the Dunlop Sport Maxx they gave me with the car.

I am mostly interested in the Conti ExtremeContact DWS also. The Bridgestone 960 AS come in the stock size. The Conti's have been getting great reviews and they are the least expensive with the highest treadwear rating. I will probably just get the 245/45/18's all around and put them on either the stock rims or the above 18x8" aftermarket rims.
My wife's CTS-V has some 960's on it and those tires are completely awesome. I intend to replace my stockers with the 960's when the time comes.
