Recomend me tires!!!

My mechanic is replacing my tires (all four) due to them being damaged in a car accident. Can you guys recommend me a good set of tires (better than stock)?

Thank you, I have never bought tires for a sports car and I do not know what to expect.

P.S I have a 2008 G37S stock rims

The stock Bridgestone summer tires are actually pretty decent albeit pricey.. if insurance is paying for it I'd say go for the Bridgestones. Nitto Invo's are prolly the other option.

Yokohama S-Drives I'm really enjoying mine and would buy them again.

RE-11

If you don't do a lot of rain driving, then upsize your tires while you're at it.

245/35R19 - 272
275/30R19 - 294

RE050a (OEM tire)

Not much to choose from because of wheel/tire sizes. I don't see the S-Drive in those sizes (too bad cause it's a great tire). I'd run the B-Stone 760 if you use the oem sizes.

Wouldn't the appropriate upsize be 245/40/19 and 275/35/19? Both are within 1% of the factory sizes of 225/45/19 and 245/40/19.

The 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 is pretty common now. It is the stock tire size on the 370Z. My personal recommendations would be the Bridgestone 760 or Hankook Ventus V12 Evo for an everyday high performance tire (ok in the rain), or something like the Bridgestone RE-11 if you want to go for all out performance.

Oh, and the Yoko S-drives are available in that size.... They are good too, but I prefer the 760's or V12's for a similar tire in the same price range.

I love my Hankook Ventus V12s... They were incredibly inexpensive and haven't failed me in the rain yet!

I run S-Drives in (F) 245/40-19, (R) 275-35-19. Most people run these sizes and they are the perfect size upgrade IMO.

Yes, but the RE-11 doesn't come in those particular sizes. Unfortunately. On a side note, it would improve your acceleration

Are you running stock wheels? How much did they run you?

Yep. Stock 19" sport rims. I think it was more or less $1100 mounted/balanced/etc if I remember correctly.
