Spring + Sway Install problem

I installed the Eibach pro spring and the stillen sway bars at the same time this past weekend. Unfortunately there is the most annoying noise coming from the bottom of the car whenever I go over road imperfections. I don't know whether it is from the stock bushings or a bad spring install or what.

Also it seems like the noise disappears over 50 mph that might be due to road however. I put some lubrication on the rubber bushing for now which seems to mitigate the problem somewhat but there is still an annoying squeak/clunking sound. Could it possibly be the end links making the noise or not tightening the bolt which holds the strut in place tight enough? I don't think that it's the bolt holding the strut because there is no vibration in the steering wheel at all and it drives smooth as butter besides the annoying noise.

I also ordered some ES bushings but they have not arrived yet. I will let you know if that fixes the problem.

I will record a video of the sound and post it later tonight.

Thanks for the help.

I know a while ago that Stillen was mistakenly shipping out G35 Sway Bars instead of G37 ones which are a little shorter than what we need. Might want to make sure they sent you the right ones.

Again, that was a while ago so that might not be the case. Are you sure you double-checked the tourque lb/fts of all the bolts during your installs?

Did you generously grease the bushings with silicone grease? What you describe sounds like sway bar bushings squeaking. They don't need replacing, they need lubrication.

I did lube them but not with silicone grease. I ordered some energy suspension bushings and silicone lube but it won't be here for a few days till then I guess I'll deal with the noise.

I bet Black Betty is right.....any other type of grease will wash away....silicone grease is what you need my friend.

Did you grease the bushings before you put them on or after you noticed the noise? You should have put something like white lithium grease or something like Betty said inside the bushings then put them on the bar.

I lubed it up after I noticed the noise. The strange thing is that there is no noise in the rear. It seems the stillen bars are larger in the front than OEM so could it be possible that using the oem bushing could cause the rubber to be too tight thereby causing the noise? In any case when I get the new ones we'll see what happens. The new ones are 27mm in the front and 25mm in the rear.

OK I installed the new bushing and lubed it up really well. The Squeaking sound is gone but there is still a kinda clunking sound whenever I go over large bumps. It doesn't seem to be coming from under the car but the sides where the springs are. Any ideas?
