Squeaking Brakes when reversing

I know I have seen it somewhere else but does anyone else have this problem. It's not only after the car has been sitting for a little. Even if I park and then put in reverse the brakes squeak, starting to get annoying.

Same here. Do you have the sport brakes?

Its normal, Cold starts will sound horrible, after a warm up they should be silent.

I took it in a looong time ago for it and had no luck. I did however go to the track yesterday and now they don't seem to squeak in reverse any more. for now atleast. So i guess one temporary fix could be just go drive your car really hard and smash the brakes a bunch, or just go to a track.

I had the brake squeak and reported it when in for maint. (sport brakes) I was first told this was normal when writing up the ticket. But when I picked up the car, they said the tech commented how loud it was, and some brakes had an issue with the pad material. So they replaced the front brakes and cut the rotors under warranty since I had under 12k miles.

With 18k, I'm starting to hear the noise again and will mention next time in.

There is another thread on this topic.

Same here, it squeaks when in reverse, I thought it was just me. Sometimes it squeaks when going forward and braking at very slow speeds. I'm going to mention it the next time I go in for maintenance.

Could this be glaze on the rotors?

TSB posted earlier is only for non-sport. I went to the dealer and they said Infiniti is aware of the problem and should have a TSB for sport models soon.
