Are there any good 285/35-19 all-season tires?

So after searching threads and posting a few threads on here, it looks like 245/40-19 (front) and 275/35-19 (rear) are the tires of choice for people looking to go wider on their stock wheels. But I would love to bump up one more size to 255/40-19 and 285/35-19 on the stock wheels. I'm only on Eibachs, so I don't think rubbing should be an issue.

However, I can't find any all-season tires in that size, except for these Avon Tech M550 A/S. They have terrible reviews on Tirerack, so I'm not even willing to try them. I really want all-season tires, because it's cold for a good 4-5 months here and I want a bit more life out of this set of tires. Does anyone know of any good quality all-season tires that come in 255/40-19 and 285/35-19?

Or do you see any major problems running different brands on the front and rear? For instance, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 255/40-19 on the front and Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S-C EMT 285/35-19 on the rear?

i would not run different fronts and rears. 285 is very wide for the stock rim. i mean that is what is run on 10.5 and 11' rims

Yea, some other people said 285 was too wide. I know the measured rim width is 10.0", but Tirerack says that it should fit a 9.5" to 11.0" rim.

+1 to what Solo said... And you really won't feel the difference between 10mm of rubber anyways IMO... Especially on all-seasons...

i bought 305/35/24's for my '08 QX56 and it still sucks in the snow. it's just the typical method of bigger tire diameter will be the only good thing that works or a true snowtire.

I'm going with 275s, but I'll still take pictures.
