Alright... newbie here. So why would you drop your car? The look right (fill in the gap between your fender and your wheel) ?

Wouldn't getting a set of nice 20's do the same thing?

I just picked up a G37s and I am a little reluctant to swtich out it's suspension in order to "drop" the car. The suspension was part of the reason I got a sport package. At the same time, I really like the pics I'm seeing on this forum- real nice rides no doubt.

Not really, the gap will be the same if not bigger because the car will be an inch highter.

I think members are confused with "dropped" and "slammed".

Putting 20's on the car WILL NOT get rid of the hideous fender gap, especially upfront.
Eibach ProKit is your best bet to get rid of the gap without sacrificing the sport suspension because they are pretty much similar in stiffness.
+ Your car will look 100x better.
