Got the Volk Formula Lugs and two of the black colored caps cross threaded and stripped into the lugs. I'm pissed. But, they looks sweet on my GT30's.

That sucks. I messed up my little allen key that came with the lugs too. Its like completely rounded off now, why would they make a plastic allen key?

The black inserts on the lugs match the rivets on my GT30's, so ftw? lol

there is no ftw when the lugs are stripping or cross threading. The project mu's made my kics that i had match the rivets also. and are far better lugs. now i only have the kics neo chromes

No doubt the neo chromes are sick lugs as well, a buddy of mine has them. Project Mu and Kics are also made by Mackin Industries, if i remember correctly?

anyone know of any other lug nuts that the key goes on the inside of the nut like the volk formulas????

well the project mu's are made by kics. and the kics are made by kics. they are brought into the us through mackin

You can use a 6mm allen wrench. I think they used plastic to keep people from over-torquing the inserts.

I have had mine on for about 2 months, and so far no issues.

my red rays lugs are all chipped the fukc up! lol need to get a new set now cause they look wack!

Theyre good.. not sure if theyre $275 dollar MSRP kind of good. I like mine, i am just using a different allen key. No cross threading issues for me so far.
