I thought Stillen or another company had something out. I thought there was an old thread on it. I will see if I can find it.

Brake Performance can do drilled and slotted rotors however they would not do them for the G37. Andy said our cars are to heavy for them and said they were for cars like mustangs and lighter as far as doing an OEM replacement. Dimpled and slotted is all that's out there now to my knowledge.

Stoptech offers replacement 2-piece rotors for Brembo-equipped G35s, so perhaps if we both go to them and say we want these rotors for the Akebonos they'll fulfill our request lol.

Maybe i am crazy and have been taught incorrectly, but slotted and drilled rotors aren't that good unless you are wanting them for looks. Drilled, unless i was taught wrong, was only used back in the day so that gases from the brake pads could escape the rotors. brake pads now-a-days don't expel gases nearly as much as before, and don't need the holes to escape. Also, the slotted part is only used to make sure the face of the brake pad is new for a good bite all the time. Also, having slotted and drilled rotors means less mass for the brake pads to expel heat through, in turn giving less braking power. Braking power is really the ability to turn rotational power into heat to slow down. If you look at any real race car that isn't for looks, i don't really recall any using drilled or slotted rotors. If they were that good, wouldn't F1 be using them?
if you want looks and more brake dust, drilled and slotted are the way to go!
Again, this was always what i was taught, maybe i am completely wrong
