want to lower g37 the right way

hi guys, new to this forum and very close to buying an 09 g37x. I want to lower it and put rims on it. My last car I lowered using just lowering springs (eibach) and it rode like a tank. Hit a pothole or bump and it would sound like the car was going to explode. I don't want to sacrifice ride quality at all, especially since this is an extremely nice car.

My question I guess is what is the best way to go about lowering the car about 1-1.5 inches or so, so that it sits flush with 19 or 20 inch rims? I don't think just aftermarket springs and factory shocks/struts will cut it. Are coilovers the best bet?

thanks in advance .

can u do that with the 09 G37X??? i thought we couldn't because it would mess up the AWD system.

anyways, the KW V3's seem to be the best coilover.

oh god, please don't tell me you can't lower g37x....I will seriously end up not buying one. I think cars look horrible with the space between tire and rim.

Yeah you'd have to be patient for the manufactures to test out their products with AWD system. For the RWD we have more options coming out monthly. Wheels won't be much of an issue, especially if your looking at DPE, iForged or any other custom order wheel.

I don't think lowering the car will mess with AWD, but they'll probably have to figure out a new way of dropping them successfully.

Could also make it look 4x4. We don't know if the AWD will sit a little higher in the front, as most AWD cars do.

get the KW's, some light weight Volks rims, CF hood and trunk lid, CF dual exhaust. that would be one damn nice X coupe (that's a bit lighter).

Lowering won't screw up the ATTESA. G35X's manage just fine when lowered.
