17.5k Miles and they sound shot to me...The road noise is absolutely horrible and almost embarassing when driving around co-workers and things like that...I haven't checked the tread as the car feels as though it's gripping ok...Regardless, I'll need to change them within the next month as I can't take the noise any longer....

You people have serious driving issues. I drive extremely aggressively. However, my commute is almost all highway. I have 25k on my tires and my fronts need to be replaced, and not because my overall tread is low but because the inner thread has gone bald. I am taking it to the dealership this weekend to get it looked at. Then I am moving my rears to the front, and prob putting Nitto Invos on the back. My rear tires still look really good.

I'm at 19k with stock tires. It feels a little slick when i make aggressive turns and i do hear road noise more now than ever.

BIGGER problem is the camber on the rear. The inside of my tires (rear) are wearing thin.

Diamond -are you getting new tires soon? if so where?

Is Tirerack the best place? My car is a lease too and i have 10k miles left on it. not sure what i can get away with on lease end inspection. do you??

good thread btw

He's probably mounting the rear tires on the front wheels and going 275/285 in the back. Lots of people use these sizes when replacing the oem tires....

I have 27,500 on all four...I could probably get another 5000 out of the rears, but the cords are showing on the insides of the fronts. I've looked at manufacturer websites and talked to five tire dealers; so far only bridgestone and nitto make OEM size matching sets. I will probably go 275/35/19 on the rear and 245/40/19 on the front. Any thoughts on other possible sizes? Has anyone had experience with changing the tire size on the stock wheels? Recommendations?

I was pleased with the Bridgestones, but 300+ per tire is too much.
