I thought you had +25mm offset on a 20 x 8.5 wheel?

The 20mm offset mentioned here actually moves the wheel even further out of the fender. I'm still a little skeptical, especially since the front suspension and fender of the G37 is so similar to the 07 G35 sedan. Also, the stock offset for both cars is in the 40's (but different wheel widths).

I'm not up on the coupe as I am with the sedan, so could be wrong!

yeah i had 20 offset but had friends here in miami that are distributors for the wheels i own and they did me the favor of changing the front two wheels, you're right about that but everything comes down to the rotor hub that sinks in instead of sticking out due to the big brake kt, if you have the basic g37 witout the brakes then you could use the offset of the g35 coupe. i was confused but everything should be done friday after the suspension gets here.

Hey guys, its Sharif from Forged Performance. We just picked up a Black G37 Coupe 6MT, and I tried bolting up my Volk LE37's from Z....horrible fit. 22 offset 19/10.5 and the tire/wheel stuck out about 3-4 inches. Looks like som very high offsets are going to be needed. Offsets that work on the old GC and 350Z will look terrible.

may i ask you wich one stuck out the most? rear or the front? when the car is lowered that changes but you're completly right about the offset.

Hey ... that looks like it might work when the car is lowered. What is the width, offset, and tire size you ended up with?

yeah, those are pretty crappy pictures bro!!! Thanks for being one of the first with rims on, but I'm sure everyone wants to see some good daylight pix.
like terry said give us the specs and the setup, did you use spacers like you said you were gonna? or did you do something with the brakes?
still have my g35 rims and I would love if they fit.....

the front i used a 30 offset due to the spoke clearance. and the rear you can't go wrong with any offset. the tires on the front 245 35 20 and 285 30 20. yeah i'm going to have better pics once i wash and drop the car.

Cool wheels !! With your offsets and tire size and judging from the pictures, your rear tires must be sticking out of your fender by about 2-3inches ? Is this true ? Wont that cause a fender rubbing issue ?

I have a similar setup (width wise) with all season tires for the winter. 275/40/18 rear with a 25MM offset. I need to use a 12MM spacer to bring the wheels out further to clear the inner rim, cuz 18" wheels are just too small for the G37S, making the offset 13MM. My rear tires stick out of the fenders by about 2inches......can i do this ????

I don't think I would say any offset ... I've seen earlier coupes run some really outrageous widths. For the G37, I'm positive 285 on the rear can be done and 295 being a good possibility, but pushing 305 most likely wont fly. But in order to get a 285 on the rear of a G37, the offset should be in the +40 to +50 range.

Like the others, I'm also anxious to see your specs and I admire your tenacity!

The problem (a good one though) for the G37S is the big brakes. In addition to knowing the offset, the aftermarket wheels themselves have to be made with the proper backspacing (clearance) on the face to accomodate the big brakes. So what fits on a G37 may in fact not fit on a G37S.

Agree, i definitely jumped the gun there buy getting these 18" wheel thinking it would fit the G37S. But the problem would be solved by using a spacer of about 10mm. My actual question is that how do you guys feel about having the rear tires sticking out the the fenders by say 2" ??? Can i do this ? The tech. at the dealership said his (not sure what) tires stick out by that much but he hasnt had any problem but the sales person told me not to do it ????
