Does G37 have brake pad wear indicators?

Do the stock OEM pads on the regular brake pads have wear indicators? (non "S" brakes)

I'm talking about the little metal strip that comes into contact with the brake disk and squeals when the brake pads are worn down to the point they NEED replacement.... does the G37 brake pads have these?

Yes they do, unless someone before you replaced them and did not put them on.

We do not get the brake wear notification on the cluster though, correct?

Our cars don't have electronic brake pad wear sensors so I don't think so.

Whenever you do an oil change at an Infiniti dealer they do a complete inspection of the vehicle and will document the thickness in mm of all four brake pads as well as the thread depth of all four tires.
They also wash and vacuum your vehicle and will provide a loaner if needed
Coffee, bagels, water, soft drinks, cup cakes also included with a flat screen TV and a computer station with a printer if needed

The dealer near me almost always has a coupon that brings the price of an oil change down to no more than what an independent mechanic would charge.

I'd skip the wash, though, unless you don't mind swirls in your clear coat.

Dealer

I like going to the dealer for oil changes, it's very close to the price at my local (high quality) mechanic. But the dealership is 7 miles away and there's a lot of traffic to fight. So I often just go local. But my local guy charges a little extra to check the pad thickness.

I prefer the dealer for trans flush and AWD driveline fluid changes. Dealer knows the right fluids to use and has them on hand.

Your dealer pulls off the wheel during an oil change (unless you pay for a tire rotation too) to properly measure thickness of inbound and outboard pads on each wheel?

HIGHLY DOUBT IT.

Free swirl marks from dealer car washes most times.

The oil change interval on my Q70 is every 5k miles so I have them do the tire rotation at the same time.
I'm on my third Infiniti since December 2005 all purchased at the same dealer and never had a problem with car washes or anything else.
Very happy with my local dealer

Right, so the oil change doesn't include them measuring the brakes which is what your original post was saying.
