Quick rundown on dealership life. If your car is under warranty and I KNOW they saw it because you can’t miss it, 9/10 times is the Tech didn’t want to do it because it doesn’t pay well. Warranty work is severely underpaid compared to customer pay(when your car is out of warranty). If your mechanically inclined you can do it at home. It will take about 6 hours to do.

kushp14, keep in mind there's no safety issue here, and odds are you're not feeling any effects from the weakened bushing. It certainly should be addressed, but it's OK to be chill about it and take your time.
You've got four options:
Do nothing.
Replace the OEM subframe... because that's the only thing your dealership would do, warranty or otherwise.
Repair... which seems sketchy to me, but not wrong per se, and kind of clever.
Upgrade with solid poly... which could run into 4-8 hours of shop time, depending on the tech.

Strange, the report said “no leak found” so possible it started soon after the visit. The SA is aware of issue and said we have to order the entire subframe and so on. Didn’t seem like they would intentionally not want to do it, I would hope so anyway. I should have checked before I went in and periodically after I first created the thread. I am under warranty so shouldn’t be a problem.

Does anyone know if it when this is completed under the elite warranty, and if it fails again, would it still be covered if elite is still effective?

Okay, guys, mine just went out, I heard the pop then spotted the leak in garage. A little background, mine is a 2010 Journey Coupe Automatic w/Sport Package at 60,000 miles. I've always had another vehicle along with the G is one reason for the low mileage. I drive the vehicle easy most of the time, occasionally some spirited driving. I tried doing the epoxy fix and my first issue was there was still too much fluid left in the bushing I guess. Fluid kept running out as I was trying to pout epoxy in. So I drove it for a bit, it was leaking pretty good when I got home, spots on the driveway. Tried epoxy again and just noticed another small bit after car sat for quite awhile.
A couple of questions, I couldn't get the Lepage epoxy as mentioned in the video but found Loctite Instant Mix 5 minute Epoxy that looks like it should be the same. Is this maybe not as good as the Lepage product? I have another package left, I guess I'll try one more time with it. Also, anyone who has done this, does the car drive okay with this fix? Mine seemed to do okay but occasionally the shifts seemed a bit funky. Any input is appreciated!
