Only 14,677 miles and brakes already squealing
I have a 2015 coupe with only 14,000 miles and my brakes are already squealing. wth?
My lease is up in 2 months. Thinking about just buying out the lease so I should just change the pads.
But 14k miles and it needs new pads? That doesn't sound right.

Brakes squealing can just be lack of grease on the metal to metal contact points. Also could have glazed pads, try some repeated hard stops (without coming to a complete stop), similar to a bed-in for performance brake pads. Try this sequence but only do 5 to 6 cycles~

Bought my 2014 Q60 with 14,000 miles on it, had squeal on light braking after warm up ( it is common to have squeal on light braking on cold brakes) the rotors were glazed and the pads deformed due to riding the brakes. Dealer cut rotors on car and replaced pads under warranty. Be careful to not stop and stand on brakes when hot while breaking in new pads ....let car roll so as to not hold pads in one spot when hot until well seated.
