New brake pads and rotors lathed. Rotors are possibly mildly warped. Common on our cars. New pads and a lathed rotor should fix it....at least for now.

By brake judder I assume you mean that there is a pronounced vibration while applying the brakes at speed.
How many miles on the car?
Are you even slightly mechanically inclined?
Do you have a place that you can work on the car?

If less than 100,000 miles and yes to the others then you can do the job yourself for less than $250 depending on a few variables. Like what brand of pad you go with and how much you can get the rotors resurfaced for.

I think I paid $150 for my pads and $60 ($15 per rotor) for resurfacing.

Even the 100,000 miles isn't a killer. It all depends on the condition of the rotors.

If the rotors cannot be turned new ones aren't too expensive.

$500 max if you DIY and even that is a high estimate.

If you aren't on the brakes when it's vibrating then that's more likely a wheel that is out of balance or a bad tire.

I'd get a second opinion.

This^^^^
Also keep in mind, most of the time it's uneven pad deposits rather than a warping of the rotors that causes the pulsating brake pedal.

2mm is really low. I recommend you getting the brakes replaced and rotors resurfaced very soon. It doesn't have to be at the dealership.

$1,100 for a front brake job is ridiculous. I know the car is a "Infiniti" which is just a fancy Nissan but wow.... I'm a Toyota tech and to replace brake pads and resurface rotors is $289.99 + tax & shop fees.... $259.99 for the rears. Doesn't matter if it's a small car like a Corolla, Prius or Yaris or big like a Tundra, Sequoia or Highlander. Price is the same no matter what.

The only possible explanation for $1100 for front brakes is replacing both front rotors with new OEM rotors. I can see factory OEM rotors easily running $300 per side.

$600 for OEM rotors
$150 for OEM pads
$350 for labor (Maybe 2.5 hrs @ $140/hr?)

I don't know why they wouldn't just resurface them.

I did a front brake job on my 2011 G37S sedan @ 51k miles on Nov 2016. I resurfaced my rotors. My front pads still had about 5mm on them. I changed them because I was getting a very annoying steering wheel vibration while braking at speeds above 45mph. Braking at triple digit speeds was scary. You could feel the pulsation through the steering wheel, brake pedal and the whole car.

After the brake job everything is good. Car is at 55k miles now.

I suggest you buying your own parts and paying someone to do it. I bought Akebono ProACT (I have the Sport model with the Akebono 4-piston calipers) front brake pads from Amazon for $52. I resurfaced the front rotors myself. Total cost for me was only $52.

You can buy front pads for about $55 on Amazon now. New front rotors might run you anywhere from $100-$200/each.

So you might be able to get away with only paying $255-$455 + labor for a shop to do it. Labor alone might be 2 hours. Labor rates for independent shops can range anywhere from $60-$100/hr.

if you have the tools and are mechanically inclined brake jobs are cake walk. the rotors may just need to be resurfaced. you can take them off and get it turned at a good parts shop that has a brake lathe. put on a set of decent pads such as akebonos like qman stated and off you go.

I was going to say this, but have become resigned that you can't fight the wind. People (and mechanics who want to sell things to people) will forever be using the phrase "warped rotors", and nothing is ever going to change that.

OP, that's a ridiculously high estimate, particularly for non-sport brakes. Find another shop... there's no added benefit taking your car to the dealership for a brake job.

I have had continual issue with the drivers rear warping and needing replacement more often than others. It has been out of spec to turn every time in both rears. I am going to replace both rear calipers on my next brake job.

Check that web site www.carid.com site. I found a set of StopTech rotors front and Rear (drilled and slotted) with all the pads for $202.19.

I have the 2013 Journey sedan.

Here are the posted prices at my local Infiniti dealer
I understand dealers can charge whatever they want

This is in line with what I said a brake service costs at my Toyota dealership.

Your dealership is definitely up to something charging you $1,100 for front brake service.
