Yeah, those alignment specs will result in some inside wear on the tread, especially in back. If you keep the Swift springs I'd at least invest in a rear camber/toe kit. Fronts would benefit from aftermarket upper control arms but at -2 w/ toe in spec you should get reasonable tread wear, not ideal, but shouldn't shorten your tire life by more than 10-15%.

As far as getting alignment in spec without these kits. Haven't seen any that are in spec, at least not that I can recall, but -2 w/ good toe shouldn't result in really crazy tire wear, over -2 though, that's a different story in most cases.

Thanks Brad.

I'm thinking about just getting 'SPC' camber kits for boy to fronts and rear Romney one of the vendor here.

Do you recommend getting a upper control arms for front instead of the SPC camber kit?

The upper control arm is just the official name for that part, and unfortunately the OEM ones don't adjust. The SPC is a good choice IME.

I'm thinking about taking the springs back to OEM and save money for coils.
Coils won't fix the issue. When you lower you will not be able to get back to stock specs. You can get close but it'll never be able to get back.
Just get the camber arms and toe bolts. Even then you may not be able to get it to stock specs but you should get it close enough to slow or stop the excessive wear.

Also, find a alignment shop that knows what they are doing with a lowered car. You'd be amazed how much better someone with experience can get the car set up.
I was in the same place as you about three months ago. At my wits end and ready to go back to stock. My tires were being chewed up and the car was all over the road.
I invested in the SPC front a arms and got rear camber arms and toe bolts.
I also found an alignment tech that knew what he was doing. Also important was that he knew that I knew what I was talking when it came to what was adjustable now.
After getting it all properly aligned I love it. Perfect ride now.
I hope you get it all worked out.

Update: Today, my friend and I swapped rear swifts with stock springs..

Oh Man.. it looks so... dumb.

Why are X-models so high!? After seeing my rear high up I'm having second thoughts on going back to stock.

I would buy the SPC sets, but I'm afraid of them not fixing my alignment issue (I've read some posts here).

Man, I need someone to convince me hahaha...

I mean... your still going to have alignment issues on coilovers. Infact, it'll just cost you more since you need the coilovers + necessary camber / toe stuff.

And like i said before, i have Eibachs, don't have camber or toe correction kits, the alignment tech got my toe in spec, and i've gone like 5-6k miles so far and i haven't seen any accelerated wear.

I suggest taking the car to a shop which knows modified, lowered cars and have them do the alignment.
