Maybe being dropped is the contributing factor to premature failure. My ride height is stock. I don't recall there being any load on the end links when installing the bars. I'll revisit this thread in a year if something changes

My mods are purely for functional purposes. Roads in chicago are way too messed up to even considering dropping. I already have to slow down to nearly a crawl at most railroad crossings.

Word to the wise, if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Here's are similar threadz to what Rochestor is asking.

And this

Front Sway End Links ? - Nissan 370Z Forum

If someone could show me how to point google at a specific website, I'll search the370z.com, Google is useless in keyword usage unless you're a developer.
add this along with your search "site:the370z.com" ex "end link opinions site:the370z.com"

I've been seeing that opinion for years now. For a while I was even repeating it, based on hearsay from the forums.

IDK, Jsolo. Could be.

Thanks for that. I tried googling how to do that 'til I was blue in the face. I couldn't launch advanced search dialog box either.

I'm almost at 9 months on the Whitelines with no issue.

+1 on the clicking if you don't take the preload off. I am lowered a bit...hence the adjustable.

The OEM MOOGs were always 'engaged' since I couldn't adjust them.

Hmmm. Thanks, old sport.
I had SPL all around and went to oem/Moog. The heim joint seems to fail and rattle around.

A heim joint made out of unobtanium and tempered in the finest virgin's tears will still wear out given the right conditions. Heim joints are a wear item, and should be treated as such.

SPL's stuff are pure race car parts. Of course people run them on the street - because they can. I have. I had a set of their front tension rods for my 240sx years ago. They made every other 240sx suspension piece I had ever seen look like a toy.

But I think people make a mistake in assuming that just because the SPL part costs a lot, they will last forever. They cost a lot because they are rebuildable, adjustable, perform very well, and are manufactured in the US.
