Rear Squeak from Coil?
Hello everyone so I've run into a problem with my 08 G37S sitting on Tein Basis Coils (4k on them). I've had this constant squeaking noise coming from the passenger rear strut it seems to be, and cant figure out what it is or how to fix it. I've read a couple threads, and the noise is coming from when the car goes up and down, not forwards and backwards. I put the silicone spray lube onto the sway bar bushings, and it didn't help. I'm almost inclined to say its the strut? If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Ill link a video if I can soon.

Buy and exhaust or turn the music up or back to oem suspension

Check to make sure the spring is centered on the spring seat. Look for rub marks on the adjustment threads.
Also, did you reuse the rubber OEM seat cushion under the metal spring seat spacer?
If you dropped the metal spacer directly in the spring bucket, without the cushion, the squeak might be there.
Make sure all the spring mounts have a plastic ring between the spring and the seat, on both ends.

you may also want to check the shock mount bolt at the knuckle and associated bushing...coilovers put a lot of stress on these parts on these cars and at the age of your car the bushing may be done anyway

I had Swift springs installed and I had the squeaking and I checked the threads and it wasn't the problem with the way it sat or the strut or bushing, etc. I heard on my driver rear, and the problem was, after some testing by backing out of driveway and going forward, one of the hangers holding the muffler was pushing up on a metal piece because the rubber that's used to hold was getting old and allowing it to move that much so I put a plastic hard piece in between and no more squeaking so the hanger stopped touching the metal piece. This is prob what's not going on with yours but just wanted to give my experience.
