All the new Tanabe dampers are made by KYB so you're getting quality stuff. They all will lower the car but it's a very small drop, 1/8th to 1/2" range. The exception is the Z40 model (which doesn't list a G37 variant, only a 370Z version) which drops an inch in the rear. Spring rates are all 10f/8r, nice bump over the base suspension and equal to the IPL's rates.

Where did you find the IPL OE rates?

Ahh, you got lucky. The older models don't have spring rates listed. I'll add your info to the RWD coil-over sticky. And it makes me think my idea of 11kg/10kg a good idea for a firmer yet decent ride for my sedan.
