Show us a picture of your car now so we can have a better idea of everything. Also appreciate all the nice things you said to me about my car! You're the man! Lol keep an eye out for my soon to come build thread in the build thread section. My baby has come a long way from what she was

Really wish I would have waited for the right sport model to come around...
How cheesy would it be if I painted my non-sport calipers gold?

Very cheesy. You can find a used set for a fair price in the classifies section.
My vote goes to copper.

I think so too. I've been browsing ebay waiting for the right set to come around.

Just put together your own brand new set, not crazy expensive if you source them yourself, and they'll be brand new

Guys thanks for all the input, I THINK I've decided. VHT Engine Metallic Gold Flake. Darker than gold but not as dark as copper. Seen this guy with it on his purple Scion TC which is somewhat "similar" to my malbec black.

Post some pics when you get them painted, should be a decent look, I'd also get stickers then apply a few coats of high temp clear to keep them adhered/protected and the calipers shiny.

Definitely get some akebono stickers man! The entire process is pointless without that finishing touch!

You do know that you don't need to limit yourself to VHT paint right?
You can order any color paint you want from automotivetouchup.com.
Mine have both been painted using the above mentioned paint
