Non Sport Brake pad install HELP
I received a pair of front EBC yellowstuff for my 2013 non sport sedan, and when I pulled out the old brake pads, the new EBC's wouldn't fit. I noticed that the tabs of the OEM pad are square shaped while the EBC ones are square with a curved edge (refer to link: EBC Brakes Yellowstuff 4000 Series Street/Track Brake Pads; FMSI ID D1287 INFINITI G35). So the EBC wouldn't fit into the slot in the metal clip inside the caliper. All websites suggest that this pad (DP41807R) will fit my car. Am I doing something wrong or is this the wrong pad?

Sorta off topic but I loved my ebc yellow stuff on my Saab 95 aero. One of the best feeling pads for aggressive breaking but they do need to be kept warm to be fully effective. But, when they say high dust, they are HIGH DUST. Your rims will be coated even after a few trips.

AHA! Found it, check pg. 230 in the catalog, the part # you need is DP41671R
(for your 12.6" rotor), the ones you received were for the base coupe 330mm rotors.
DP41955R would be the correct rear pads 12.1" rotor

Just a quick update: the part number that newt found for me was in fact the correct part. I contacted the company that originally sold me the first set of brake pads that didn't fit even though it was listed otherwise. They said they would be contacting EBC to fix this issue since it is advertised everywhere that DP41807R fits non sport sedans. The correct part number is DP41671R.

In the past I have had fitment issues with EBC aswell for a 99' Mitsubishi GST where the catalog said it was a match and it was not. Summit Racing had an EBC engineer on the phone with me and EBC admitted their catalog was in error and would update. They identified the correct pad and Summit swapped out the incorrect pads for me.
This was like 8 years ago... I see they still have catalog errors. With that said, I do like EBC brakes.

I just went through this as well last week - the one thing that stopped me from ordering the wrong pads was Amazon - when you add a car to your amazon "garage" they know exactly what part # you need. There was 3 websites that i checked (autoanything, summitracing, etc) that gave me the wrong part #'s for the pads, when i went to add them to my cart on amazon, they show a message in red "These won't fit your car" So i did a little more reasearch, turns out i got lucky ordering it from amazon. Also same thing with rotors, i did a lot of research to see which StopTech and EBC rotors will fit my car, even carid.com showed one part # but amazon knew better.
