installing Akebono sport brakes and parts needed
hello guys, im new here so forgive me if this was asked before. i recently bought a 2012 G37xS sedan but i always wanted the big brakes and could never have them. 1, being that the winters (VA) around here make a RWD impractical most of the time and 2, i cannot drive a manual (gasp! yes i know...moving on). so anyway, i figure maybe installing the factory sport brakes that come on the manual version shouldnt be too difficult. though i am not a car tech guy so i would like to know if installing those brakes is possible on an automatic is possible and if so, what parts do i need (factory or aftermarket)?

And lucky for you the XS 18" wheels clear the big calipers so you're already ahead of most that do the swap

You may need a new spare tire/wheel though, not sure if the XS spare will clear. You can fit this template to the spare to confirm
