Is This Brake Dust or Road Dirt?
This My first set of open spoke wheels so maybe I'm unfamiliar with how they collect dirt.
My dealer recently put some new pads and rotors on my G and soon after I changed my wheelset.
I noticed after 2 or three drives, especially if it's wet out, they seem to collect a lot of what looks like dirt between the spokes.
Even when dry they seem to collect a lot gritty deposits.
Is this road dirt or brake dust? I'm wondering if I need to switch pads or just get used to wiping the wheels every couple of days...

Road dirt. Brake dust is black, it has super small particles a lot like baby powder but it spreads across the whole wheel-well and sticks to everything. Basicly when you wipe your finger across your wheel and it comes up black that's brake dust.
Are the wheels painted or plasti dipped?
If Painted use a protector, it'll help keep the dirt from sticking even when wet
If plasti dipped, add a coat of plasti dip glosser. It'll reduce the amount of crap that sticks to the rubberized coating

I Read on this forum that "Meguiar's G15009 Hot Rims Brake Dust Barrier" is good stuff.
