Suggestions for New Rotors / Pads

Hi everyone, I have a 2009 G Sedan Journey Sedan with 17" wheels.

I need to get new rotors & pads, looking for suggestions ; the priorities for me are:

1. Least risk of rotor warping / pad deposits (glazing)
2. Performance

I don't mind dust build up, I wash it frequently.

For rotors, from what I have read, cross drilled rotors would reduce risk of rotor glazing at expense of a little faster pad wear, which doesn't bother me.

For pads, any particular pad that is more resistant to rotor/pad deposits

Thanks!

Got a smilar setup, Hawk HPS 5.0 pads with stoptech drilled rotors. So far LOVING my brakes (pending a full brake fluid flush coming up).

Word of advice, cheapest I found was on tire rack believe it or not.

How is the dust on the Hawks?
My dealer put some kind of pads on and after 1 or 2 drives the wheels are covered in a half inch of sand.

The Hawk 5.0's are awesome in that regard, much better than previous HPS+ Hawk pads I ran on a previous car. They've honestly earned my vote in the past 8k miles of use as my next brake pad choice in the future.

this might sound silly but are the g37x front and rear pads the same?? Because no matter where i look i can't find the hawk 5.0 FRONT pads, the item number HB370B.559 show as "Rear" pads everywhere. Am i missing something?

I have the 2011 G37x it's NOT sport.

Do you have a coupe or sedan?
AFAIK they don't have Hawk 5.0s for all the Gs yet.

2011 G37x Sedan

what are the next best pads to get if they don't have them?

Also, i'm assuming this means the rear and front pads are different?

As far as bite, the Stoptech Street pads perform well but are prone to uneven pad deposits when running hot, those would be comparable to the 5.0 but have more dusting too, so the drawbacks may outweigh some of the positives.
The regular HPS pads get decent reviews for the most part so you may consider those.

also, quick look on tirerack...centric rotor options are plain (120), plain cryo-treated, high carbon (125), and high carbon cryo-treated.

is the "premium" rotor you are talking about different from all of these?

The Centric premiums on Rockauto are the regular ones w/ e-coating and improved venting, they also have the High Carbon for a bit more $$, AFAIK these aren't listed as Premiums (but would be another step up from them, lol)
You can click on the blue Info tab next to the part for better descriptions

2012 INFINITI G37 3.7L V6 Rotor | RockAuto

And yes, the parts I recommended are for street use but could be up to light track duty.

Stoptech drilled and slotted rotors with duralast ceramic brake pads FTW! And yes that's a biased opinion but a good one at that

Ready to buy rotors and pads for all four corners. I know we've been over this and it seems like centric rotors and hawk pads were the most recommended, but just want to bump this thread in case anyway has any other things to share.

KennyZ, any more to report on your stoptechs?

I did rotors from r1concepts last time I had an Infiniti and was happy with them. Just put dimpled and slotted from R1Concepts on my BMW a couple months ago and have been very pleased with them so far.

I think you have to message or call them for the dimpled/slotted.

Also, R1Concepts rotors are manufactured by Centric and then modified by R1...
