Sway Bars for G37x
I have a '10 G37x. Bone stock, save for CAI. A fellow member is selling hotchkis front sways, along with OEM Sport sways for the rear. Question: is the Rear OEM sport sway bar any better than the Rear OEM AWD sway? In terms of better I mean sustaining the geometric plane of the car around turns (body roll).
Also, would a hotchkiss front sway/OEM sport sway combo be pallatable to others?
Thanks in advance for all the help!

Several people have swapped the awd rear sway with the rwd rear sport sway. Anything is better than the oem rear sway for the awd.
I'd suggest you try to find just the rear rwd sport sway. Drive it like that for sometime and see if you're happy.
If not, get a full set of Hotchkis, and sell the sport sway.
Or just get a full Hotchkis set from the start. I put a set on yesterday, and my awd has come alive.
I need to find some non-blind corners to really test them out. So far, I can tell they're awesome, but most of the corners I've taken, I needed to slow down for because I can't see oncoming traffic. It wouldn't be safe. That being said, I've had a few nice chances to push it, and so far, so good.

hotchkis sway bar set 350+200 install
vs
s rear sway bar 165+100 install
165 only because i cannot at the moment find a used S Coupe/IPL rear sway for cheap.
Hotchkis sounds pretty good right now...

- RWD sway bar with end links in like new condition: $50 shipped (eBay, they are posted regularly)
- Resell the end links I didn't need: $20 back in my wallet
- An hour of my time in the garage with basic tools: free
Cost to swap for the RWD rear sway bar: $30
That is definitely not a $100 job, it's well under an hour for a trained mechanic with the right tools and a lift. If my car wasn't lowered I probably could have done the install without even using a jack.
