Brake Questions....

I've got a 2010 G37S (comes with bigger brakes than non-S).

How long should the oem brakes last with regular 15k a year driving?

How big are the Sport rotors? (inches please)

What is the size difference between non Sport brakes?

I have a slight vibration when slowing down from 75 mph. Not sure if it's wheel balance or rotor warp. I'll probably have the balance checked first.

If I need to replaced the rotors and pads is it worth it to get high performance?

Deffinately want a low dust pad. Any suggestions?

How long brakes last depend much more on how it's driven rather than miles driven. A hard 15k miles can chew up pads in that year and casual cruising they could last up to 100k. I'd say for average mildly spirited driving 40-50k miles would be reasonable.

Sport rotors are 14" front (355mm), 350mm rear
Non sport brakes are 330mm F&R for the coupe
Non Sport Brakes are 320mm front and 307mm rear for the sedan.

People are quick to blame warped rotors but most cases it's uneven pad deposits, you could turn your rotors if there's enough metal left and go w/ a ceramic based pad for low dust. If the vibration only occurs when the brakes are applied it won't be a wheel balance, or at least highly unlikely.

Centric premium rotors w/ ceramic pads of your choice would be a good combo. I don't use ceramics so someone else might help w/ selecting those.
Rockauto.com is a good site to compare brake parts.
