alignment spec sheet with swift springs

in case anyone is interested, this is my before/after alignment

car has swift springs, otherwise stock

going to run on my half worn tires this summer to see how bad the wear is without camber correction

Wow, that's probably the highest camber I've seen w/ Swifts. At least you've already got tires that are on the way out. Looks like F&R camber kits are a must, but at least they'll pay for themselves in tire cost long term.

What is a typical camber with swift springs? My geometry brain is not too sharp right now, but do 20mm spacers affect camber measurements?

I wonder if it might be worthwhile to have a second opinion done.

The shop I was at seemed to think the rear camber could be adjusted to some extent without aftermarket arms; is this factual?

Rear camber can be adjust about a degree w stock components.

For 2-3 degrees of adjust you would need something like the SPC camber/toe eccentric bolt kit..

Most opt for the 2-4 degrees of adjust with the SPC camber arm and toe bolt. Some install the toe bolt, while others don't and only install the arm due to a shop saying the bolt is not needed and their toe is within spec. Depends if you decide to drop further or want to plan ahead or not for possibly needing to adjust toe.

The big deal with either the toe/camber bolt routes is rounding out holes in the frame /suspension connection points to allow the provided bolts to adjust.

I'm completely surprised by those camber spec's , especially in the front, with such a minimal drop.

I wonder if the difference is that I had my springs installed over 6 months ago, vs most people who get their alignment done immediately after install before things settle.

I live in the land of potholes and ice ruts, so an annual springtime alignment is almost mandatory if you are not driving a unimog

Typical camber w/ Swifts seems to be in the -1.8 to -1.6 range from some that I've seen. How low are you from the ground to the top of your front inner fender edge?

so after the alignment your rear camber actually got worse? wtf? Yeah the camber kit are definitely a good idea unless you want to run some pretty aggresive offset wheels and be "hellaflush" :

Edit; also there is a full camber kit (Front and Rear) for sale on the 370z forums currently in the private classifieds for $300

LINK TO 370Z FORUM PLS!

the $900 shipped quote I got for SPL kit was a bit tough to stomach

I have 20mm spacers on my duckfeet wheels and it is perfect imho.

not into the ridiculous stanced look, just wanted to bring wheel gap down a bit heh

Had a chance to measure today, rear is 27" to the highest part of the wheel well lip, front is 26.5"

is that pretty typical for swift heights?

I'm on xS duckfeet with OEM sized tires

I also have a 2009xS lowered on swifts. Front is about 26" 3/4 off the ground and rear is about 27" 1/4.

I am on coupe 19s with 245/40/19 all around.

alignment spec sheet with swift springs-ww2bilf.png

this is me on swift springs with SPC F&R, no spc toe bolt.

the passenger rear camber had to be set at 1.9 to get the toe in spec, since the toe bolt was seized on that side
